Schools’ A-level rankings.

SOME of Coventry and Warwickshire’s independent schools have

been ranked by their A-levels results in new tables.

The tables, based on figures from the Independent Schools

Information Service, rank schools by the average number of points scored

by the pupils who took two or more A levels.

A grades at A level get 120 points while E grades get 40. A grades

at AS level get 60.

Two Coventry schools feature in the West Midlands table – Henry

VIII School in Warwick Road, city centre (above) with 398 points, and

Bablake School Bablake School is an coeducational independent school located in Coundon, Coventry, England. The school motto is “The spirit of opportunity”. Bablake is part of the Coventry School Foundation with King Henry VIII School and Coventry Preparatory School.
